The system includes double knock fire detection with addressable fire alarms, as well as an automatic active fire fighting in tunnels. The system operates with 10 bar water pressures and employs common available components, pumps, valves and stainless steel AISI 316L pipe systems. The system is delivered in modules which are assembled and factory tested, for simple and fast installation and commission in the tunnels. TUNNEL SAFETY TESTING, S.A (TST) is a Spanish company, that operates the facilities of the Test center of "San Pedro de Anes". Real scale Fire and ventilation tests and training courses for fire brigades, operators of the tunnel control room and bus drivers are the main activities developed inside the experimental tunnel.
