This facilitates extremely early detection of fire incidents as well as the suppression of known disturbances, for example diesel exhaust fumes. Sentio® is developed by Firefly AB in Sweden - the world’s leading supplier of fire and explosion protection systems for the process industries.

FOGTEC is the world leader for the design and installation of active fire fighting systems for underground facilities. FOGTEC is currently supplying turn key installations for example in the Eurotunnel, the Tyne Crossing tunnels in Newcastle and for the  25 Dartford Tunnels near London. of low pressure watermist systems for active
fire protection. VID Fire-Kill offers a technical,
simple to install, and low maintenance tunnel fire
protection system. The integrated system includes
zone divided active fire protection with watermist
together with double knock fire detection with
addressable fire alarms.
The active fire protection system operates with 10
bar water pressures and employs common available
components, pumps, valves and stainless steel AISI
316L pipe systems. The full system is delivered in
modules which are factory assembled and tested,
for simple and fast installation and commission in
tunnels. The system has been full scale tested in
tunnel fires of up to 100MW, involving diesel oil
and solid fuels.

Since more than 20 years, LISTEC´s  „Linear Fire Detection System“ is protecting tunnels and buildings worldwide - meanwhile with more than 1.500.000 meter LISTcable. The famous LISTcontroller is still unique in the market and got new features. The high sensitivity due to the fact that the temperature is measured with a resolution of 0.1°C is LISTEC standard.  Automatic redundancy  and a redundant communication with open data protocols to other systems are LISTcontroller features of the new generation. A Remote Display Unit ( RDU ) can be used.
